Eagle River Hockey League: AAA Week Fourteen

It’s WEEK FOURTEEN of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AAA recap. Three Penalties, one in each period didn’t help the boys from Garcia’s as they took on Pizza Man. For Pizza Man, Patrick Zmuda led the charge scoring both of the team’s goals to defeat Garcia’s 2-1. The first goal came shortly after the start of the game. Brett Siegal was credited with dishing the puck to Zmuda who scored at the 15:00 mark.

Eagle River Hockey League: AA Week Twelve

It’s WEEK TWELVE of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AA recap.Cub’s Painting vs. OMR BrewingThe first game of the evening ended in a 4-4 tie.  The lone first period goal was scored by Cub’s Ryan Ciolkosz. In the second period, Cub’s netted the next three goals. First, Garrett Staudinger, Todd Verdick and then Nate Curnow. OMR Brewing, finished the period with two goals. Jason Novotny and David Roach each scored ending the period 4-2. It was all OMR in the third, Novotny got his second goal of the night and Michael Tencza tied the game at 7:22 and that’s how it would end.The Cub’s remain in first place and OMR Brewing in fourth.

Eagle River Hockey League: AAA Week Twelve

It’s WEEK TWELVE of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AAA recap. The ERHL AAA Division early game featured the fourth place Garcia’s (1-10-1) vs. third place Homesteaders (3-6-3). The first period was scoreless with the Homesteaders firing 11 shots on net and Garcia’s eight shots. Scoring in the second started early with a Garcia’s goal coming at 16:16 by Blake Brazil.

It’s WEEK ELEVEN of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AA recap. In the second game of the night, first place Cub’s Painting (8-1-2) defeated fifth place Stellar Designs (2-7-2) with a final score of 3-2.

It’s WEEK ELEVEN of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AAA recap. Homesteaders vs. Jalapenos. Wednesday’s first game of the evening featured third place Homesteaders vs. first place Jalapenos. This one went down to the wire, ending in a 5-5 tie. Homesteaders got on the board first with a goal from Jon Garner, assist credited to Jake Wilkins. Jalapenos got the next two.

Eagle River Hockey League: AA Week Ten

It’s WEEK TEN of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AA recap. Shine’s Sushi vs. Cubs Painting. The Cubbies jumped into first place in the ERHL AA Division on Sunday night with a 5-2 victory over Shines. Cubbies improved their record to 7-1-2 while Shines missed out on two points, and are now at, 5-5-0. The first period saw some good saves by both goalies.

It’s WEEK TEN of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AAA recap. Homesteaders got on the board first with a wrap around unassisted goal by Brice Parks. Pizza Man’s Max Daughtery, showed off some of his skill with a nifty backhander that resulted in a goal, with a nice pass from James Hester to tie the game 1-1.

It’s WEEK NINE of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AA recap. The early game played on Sunday featured fourth place Play It Again Sports vs. sixth place Stellar Designs. Penalties and power plays made the difference in this one. First goal of the game was scored on a power play strike in the first period by Stellar’s Kevin Blanchette with the assist credited to Cassie Kosinski.

It’s WEEK NINE of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AAA recap. A big night for the Garcia’s team. First win of the season with a decisive 7-2 victory over the Homesteaders.

Eagle River Hockey League: AA Week Eight

It’s WEEK EIGHT of the Eagle River Hockey League, and this is the AA recap. Eagle River Ale House vs. OMR Brewing. Second place Eagle River Ale House vs. fourth place OMR Brewing. Leading off the scoring was OMR’s Jason Novotny. He got the first goal at 12:08 of the first period. That’s how the first period ended, 1-0 OMR. It was the second period that saw all the action. A combined seven goals were scored.
