Meagan joined Usborne Books & More a little over a year ago after attending a party online. All it took was one ask, and she jumped at the new adventure!
At the time, she was staying home to raise her children, looking for a side job that would still allow her to take care of her kids, and make some extra income. It was a perfect fit for this family of bookworms. Promoting literacy and sitting down to read with your children was always important to Meagan, even before she became a consultant. She believes that reading a bedtime story is more of a treat than a task. As a consultant, she hopes to help children fall in love with reading, making a difference in the world.
With a supportive team all over the country, Meagan participates in training and team building events online. Cheered on by the Usborne home office in Tulsa, they provide abundant support, marketing materials, great customer specials, and incentives for her and her team’s success. Meagan has earned several of their Challenge awards and is looking forward to traveling to the Tulsa home office in the future for their annual conference.
As is typical of successful consultants, it was hard for Meagan to pick out her favorite Usborne product.
They offer books for all ages, not just young children, as many people assume. Her oldest enjoyed the EJ12 series, a Girl Hero series featuring special agent Emma Jacks. All of her children loved the “touchy-feely” series “That’s Not My…,” which is a tactile board book series that lets toddlers interact with different textures on the book pages. But Meagan’s absolute favorite is the seek-and-find book “Where’s Jane” based on Jane Austen’s work, written by one of the famed author’s great-nieces.
Usborne books aren’t just exciting and educations, they are also high-quality with a lifetime 50% replacement policy! Several charitable programs have been spearheaded by the company, including their Literacy for a Lifetime program, a 50% matching grant program for organizations like schools and homeless shelters.
