More bang for your buck

By shopping local with small business owners, you can find the perfect gifts for that special someone and help support your community.

Somehow December is here already.

Some of us have finished our holiday shopping, while others haven’t even started. If you fall into the latter group, there’s no need to worry! You not only have time to get shopping, but you can make your gifts have twice the impact. By shopping local with small business owners like these ladies, you can find that perfect gift for that special someone and help support your community. So, before you hop on Amazon, you might want to check out what your local businesses have to offer.

There’s a little bit of everything in both direct sales businesses and our great local shops.

People tend to think first of those nice indulgences like jewelry, clothing, and makeup. But there are also products for your health, your education and some really fabulous services and experiences offered as well. If you’re one who prefers homemade gifts, a lot of these businesses offer products or services to help make those homemade gifts – and how to make them even easier! And I’m sure all of these things will be delivered with a smile. Small Business Saturday doesn’t have to be just one day a year. When you become a customer for a local business, you often get to know these people better. You see them at the grocery store and run into them at the gym. So, if you’re wondering what to get for that hard to shop for person on your list, give one (or all!) of these ladies a call and see what possibilities they have to offer you. “Shopping Small” can make such a big impact.
