Shelby Larson joined the Young Living family five years ago in 2013.
After trying out other direct sales companies, Shelby was drawn to Young Living Essential Oils to help her family become toxin free. A former midwife and doula, Shelby is now a bereavement doula working with the TEARS Foundation, a certified volunteer counselor for families who know they will lose their baby or know that the baby has passed already. Shelby and her husband, Rane, reside in Palmer with their two children, where Rane is a firefighter for central MatSu. In her spare time, Shelby volunteers at Birchtree Elementary.
Before Shelby started her Young Living journey, she was not very talkative and stayed quiet in social settings. Going places like the mall or grocery store were uncomfortable for her. Through her Young Living experience, Shelby has gained more confidence and personal development – now going to restaurants alone and even flying across the country on her own! And of course, Young Living has many other benefits for her and others.
Young Living has more than just oils.
Shelby uses their Healthy Cooking products when baking with her children. In fact, while chatting with me on the phone, they were making scones using Young Living’s Einkorn flour; an ancient grain, with fewer chromosomes, akin to the original wheat. Not being hybridized makes it easier to digest. The Healthy Cooking products can be combined with the oils as well, like the Vitality oils that incorporate dietary and ingestion benefits.
Shelby’s favorite Young Living product is Ningxia Red, an overall body support supplement drink.
This has been a game changer for her families’ overall body health. It is more convenient to consume than oils or pills and can be consumed by any age. Another of her favorites is the Thieves household cleaner, which gives her sound mound that her cleaning products are safe for the kids to use when they are helping out. As we learn more and more about the toxins in everything around us, Young Living is helping families navigate the solutions to a toxin-free environment.
