Lions Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Food Drive
March 28, 2018 by Press Releases in Press Release
Lions Easter Egg Hunt

Wear your boots & bring FOOD ITEMS for our LOCAL FOOD BANK, the truck will be parked at the entrance of Lions Park, opposite side of the Fire Engine.

Drop off a bag of non-perishable food items and receive a ticket for our drawing to win the special $100.00 EASTER BASKET. Drawing will take place at 1:05 pm, so go back to check your ticket number before leaving.

Participants should arrive at 12:30 pm – if you get there at 1 pm, you’re late. The hunt is over in a flash as the children typically find every egg within 10 minutes.

The egg hunt is broken up into five age groups: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8-9 and 10-11-12.

Look for marked area for each age group. Our Community has filled over 10,000 eggs with candy, coins and prizes for the event. Ten lucky children in each age group will win a special numbered prize. The 2 Easter bunnies will be handing out special treats around the Clubhouse and Park. Stop by the Fire Truck on your way out and say Hi, they will have extra treats if you missed finding those eggs!

Our annual egg hunt is a free event for our children, thanks to the combined efforts of the Chugiak Lions, Sleeping Lady Mountain Lions, Eagle River Lions, VFW Post 9785, Eagle River Auxiliary Post 9785, Eagle River Elks, Eagle River Boys & Girls Club, Bear Mountain Leos and Anchorage Fire Department Station 11 of Eagle River.

If you have any questions regarding our Easter egg hunt, please call 907-227-1111 and leave a message!
