10:00 pm – Stolen Vehicle
(17100 Block of Coronado)
While the owner of a 2009 Chevy Impala was out of town for a few days, he had a friend staying in his home. That friend invited another individual over to the house and it was that third individual who stole the keys from inside the house and then drove off in the Impala. As of this time the vehicle has not yet been recovered.
10:22 am – DWLS/DWLR/DWLC
(15600 Block of E. Eagle River Loop Rd)
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had expired tags and an inoperable brake light. The 29-year-old male was issued citations for the inoperable brake light, expired registration, and no proof of insurance; he was issued a summons for driving on a revoked license. The vehicle was towed.
1:43 pm – Eluding
(16000 Block of S. Birchwood)
A citizen called Police to report another vehicle had almost run her off the road while she was driving into town on the Glenn Highway. The citizen provided Dispatch with the license plate of the suspect vehicle; that vehicle had been reported as stolen. Officers located the suspect vehicle in Anchorage on Muldoon Road. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, the suspect vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Due to the amount of traffic in the area, the officer did not pursue.
3:38 am – Misconduct Involving a Weapon
(11400 Block of Heritage Ct)
While heavily intoxicated, a 25-year-old male held a handgun and pulled the charging chamber to the rear causing an unused round to discharge on the ground in his living room. There were at least two other people present when this occurred. He was charged with Drunk in Possession.
6:48 pm- Driving Under the Influence
(Eagle River & Eagle River Loop Rd)
A citizen called Police Dispatch and reported a vehicle that was unable to maintain its lane, drove in and out of the ditch, and narrowly missed hitting both a light pole and other vehicles. Officers arrived in the area and located the 32-year-old female whom they arrested for Assault and Operating Under the Influence. During the arrest and subsequent processing, she was uncooperative and combative with officers. She struggled with the officers as they were escorting her to the patrol car, she also kicked and hit the cage once she was inside the car. After they arrived at the jail, other officers were called to assist as she had to be placed into leg restraints. Inside the jail she requested to use the phone to call a lawyer. Once she had the phone in her hand, she hit a police officer on his arm with it, leaving a red mark.
9:54 pm – Burglary

A shed was burglarized. No further details available at this time.
2:01 am – False Information
(13400 Block of Old Glenn Hwy)
Police Dispatch received a call that a male was in the Fred Meyer parking lot attempting to siphon gas from a vehicle by punching a hole through the gas tank. The caller was able to provide a detailed description of both the suspect and the vehicle he was in. Officers located the suspect at Tesoro. A 31-year-old male was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief and Vehicle Tampering.
11:02 am – Threats (Except Bomb or Suicide)

A message was left on voicemail for a business wherein the caller threatened both an employee (who is a contractor) and the project the contractor is currently working on.
5:58 pm – Fraud
(11400 Block of Business Blvd)
APD responded to First National Bank regarding an individual attempting to cash a check that had previously been reported as stolen. Officers made contact to the woman with the check; there were no immediate arrests and this case is still under investigation.
11:53 pm – Assault
(9400 Block of Stuart)
A 57-year-old female physically attacked her husband when he came home while she was intoxicated. Her husband was forced to lock and barricade himself in a room to get away from her assault. She attempted to get through the barricade and caused damage to the house in the process. She was arrested and charged with Assault and Criminal Mischief.
