Indecent Exposure at Town Square Park
Burglary (10900 Block of Kaskanak Dr.)
While the homeowners were asleep, an unknown suspect got into an unlocked vehicle parked outside the home. The suspect retrieved the garage door opener from the vehicle, opened the garage door, entered the home, and stole several items from the living room.
Burglary (11200 Block of Kaskanak Dr.)
While the homeowners were asleep, an unknown suspect got into an unlocked vehicle parked outside the home and retrieved the garage door opener. The suspect used the opener to open the garage door; they do not believe entry was made into the house itself. A purse had been left inside the vehicle; credit cards were taken from the purse and used to make several unauthorized purchases.
Indecent Exposure (Town Square Park)
A citizen called Police Dispatch and reported a male suspect who was in Town Square Park. While watching children play, the suspect was gyrating his hips and continually put his hands down his pants. The male suspect had left the scene by the time officers arrived. The citizen was able to get a photo of the suspect which was provided to police. This case is still pending.
Burglary (Eagle River Bowl)
Unknown suspect(s) made entry into Eagle River Bowl overnight and stole a few items. This case is pending.
Burglary (Eagle River Ale House)
Unknown suspect(s) made entry into the Ale House overnight and stole a few items including the ATM. This case is pending.
Vandalism (12300 Block of Old Glenn Hwy)
APD responded to Tips Bar in reference to a male punching and breaking the front glass door of the business. The suspect also broke out the window of his own vehicle. The complainant declined to press charges.
Burglary (18800 Block of Talarik Dr.)
An unknown suspect(s) entered a garage through an open door. Items were stolen from a vehicle parked inside. Things were also taken from inside the garage itself. The homeowner was at home and asleep at the time of the burglary. This case is pending.
Assault (19000 Block of Third St.)
Officers made contact with an adult male who had been punched several times by a coworker. The victim was conducting a disciplinary hearing with the suspect when an argument broke out between the two and the suspect began to punch the victim. Another coworker jumped in to break up the altercation. The victim declined to press charges.
Fraud (11400 Block of Business Blvd.)
26-year-old Shauna Lee Guillen of Anchorage was charged and arrested for Forgery II and Theft II after attempting to cash a check at a bank that did not belong to her. Shauna was also found to be in possession of several debit/credit cards that were not in her name.
Driving Under the Influence (14000 Block of Business Blvd.)
An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing that vehicle pull out of the Tips Bar parking lot with no headlights on. The vehicle continued to drive with no lights and also drove up onto the center median of the roadway. The officer arrested the driver, 40-year-old Melinda Beth Frazee of Anchorage, for Operating Under the Influence.
