I would like to encourage everyone to put April 4 on their calendars and vote for John Brassell for Assembly.
My family and I have known John and his family for years and I cannot think of a better candidate to represent Chugiak-Eagle River. John is a U.S. Air Force veteran, father of six wonderful children and a local businessman. John loves this community and has volunteered his time as a substitute teacher, a high school basketball coach and has served on several committees. He is a Rotarian, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and an active member of his church.
There are other candidates who want to win this Assembly seat, but John is our best option to get things done. John’s opponent has a history of supporting legislation that is soft on crime and a voting record for inflated budgets. We cannot afford to have those same policies continue on the Assembly.
I trust John and I know he is a man who will stand up to liberal policies and work to keep our community safe and put our best interest as a priority.
Even if people in our community don’t usually come out to vote, this would be a great election to get involved in. Your voice really does make a difference!
