Switching Seats During A Traffic Stop And Alleged Abuse With A TV Remote Control

APD patrol officers and firefighters from the Anchorage Fire Department responded to the intersection of Beach Lake Drive and the Birchwood Loop Road near the railroad tracks where an unoccupied vehicle had been set on fire. AFD extinguished the flames. There are no known suspects in this arson.
KC Lynn Cravy, age 25 of Wasilla, was cited for allegedly driving a vehicle with an expired registration and for allegedly driving with no proof of insurance.
APD officers responded to a residence in the 23600 block of Chandelle Drive in Chugiak after receiving a report of a verbal altercation between a daughter and a father. The daughter allegedly threw a television remote control that hit the father in the leg. The daughter then left the home and the father did not suffer any injuries as a result of the incident.
Troy C. Donahoo, age 48 of Wasilla, was cited for alleged expired vehicle registration, alleged violation of the open container law for marijuana and for allegedly driving with no proof of insurance. Donahoo was pulled over by APD patrol officers in the 23700 block of the Old Glenn Highway.
Jesus A. Malagon, age 35 of Chugiak, was arrested for allegedly hitting his girlfriend with his hands and for allegedly hitting his child with a bag. Malagon was charged with two counts of assault and family violence regarding the incident that occurred in the 23100 block of Barbara Street in Chugiak. The incident was initially reported by a private citizen that called APD Dispatch because he or she could hear the physical disturbance as it occurred.
Mon., Jan. 30
Faaletonu S. Manusina, age 22 of Anchorage, was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence in the 15600 block of the E. Eagle River Loop Road. APD patrol officers pulled the vehicle Manusina was driving over after receiving a tip from APD Dispatch that a citizen called in to report a vehicle was swerving off the road and almost went into the ditch.
Tues., Jan 31
Selena A. Jackson, age 28 of Anchorage, was cited for alleged operation of a motor vehicle with an expired registration and for allegedly operating the vehicle without proof of insurance.
Molly Rose Tom, age 25 of Saint Michael, was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence at the intersection of Business Bvld and Centerfield Drive in Eagle River. An APD patrol officer witnessed the vehicle Tom was driving being driven very slowly with its hazard lights on. The officer pulled behind the vehicle, put on the patrol car’s overhead lights and exited his patrol car to check on the occupants of the pulled over vehicle. As the officer got out of his patrol car, he saw an adult male passenger exit the pulled over vehicle and walk to the driver’s side to get in the driver’s seat as the female in the driver’s seat slid over to the passenger seat. The officer asked the male why he had switched seats and allegedly received the answer that the male moved to teach the female how to drive the car because it was having mechanical problems.

Christina L. Kelley, age 29 of Chugiak, was arrested and charged with assault for allegedly hitting her roommate in the face several times at the residence in the 24100 block of Mirror Lake Drive.
