Thurs., Nov. 24
Phillip Fields, age 56 of Anchorage, was arrested for alleged domestic violence assault after he allegedly forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 19100 block of Attu Circle in Eagle River. According to police reports, Fields allegedly pushed his ex to the floor.
A gaming system and a television were reported stolen from a home in the 16900 block of Meadow Creek Drive. The homeowner noted forced entry through the home’s front door when the homeowner arrived back to the domicile. Investigation, in this case, is still pending.
Sat., Nov. 26
Erik Niemi, age 26 of Anchorage, was arrested for alleged operation of a motor vehicle under the influence in the 20900 block of Ross Voyles Avenue in Chugiak. The vehicle Neimi was driving had sped past an APD patrol officer on the Glenn Highway. The APD officer clocked the vehicle at an alleged 80 miles per hour. The officer then pursued the vehicle and made the traffic stop on Ross Voyles Avenue.
Matthew Juba, age 38, was arrested for criminal mischief III after he allegedly destroyed several household items inside the home in the 16800 block of Eagle River Road that he shares with his fiancé.
Managers of the Christmas Towne located at Camp Carlquist in Chugiak made an online report that a new employee took cash from the cash register after finishing her shift. Further investigation is still pending.
David Dreves, age 38 of Wasilla, was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant during a routine traffic stop at the intersection of End Avenue and Farm Street in Eagle River. APD patrol officer noted the vehicle Dreves was driving allegedly did not have working tail lights. Dreves was issued a citation for not having proof of insurance and for the misuse of license plates as the plates on the vehicle he was driving were determined to belong to a different vehicle. Natasha Ravariere, age 36 of Wasilla, was also arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant during the traffic stop. She was the passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded for lack of insurance.
Mon., Nov. 28
A 2002 GMC Yukon was stolen when it was left running and unoccupied in front of a house in the 16000 block of Cline Street in Eagle River. The vehicle was later found abandoned near Husky Street and James Way in Eagle River. APD has made no arrests in this case.
An unknown person allegedly used a counterfeit $20 bill to pay for merchandise at the Eagle River Wal-mart.
Tues., Nov. 29
Ethan Philbrick, age 26 of Anchorage, was arrested in the 12100 block of the Old Glenn Highway in Eagle River near the Tesoro fuel station on an unrelated outstanding warrant after APD officers responded to an anonymous report that Philbrick was using drugs in his vehicle. Upon investigation, the drug use report was determined to be unfounded.
